This African American Heroes activity was created as a simple guided-learning resource to use with the National Geographic Kids- African American Heroes page. It can also be used as a template for other online or teacher-provided resources where students read/learn about influential African Americans.
Included:

– Two-pages of printable and Google-compatible worksheets:
1. Student chart with guided tasks for reading and summarization.
2. Student page for peer learning (allows for simple note-taking on other African American figures).
– Link to a digital Google resource
